What time is your worship service?
Our worship service is at 10:30 am. You are welcome to join us in person or via our Livestream on this website on Youtube or Facebook.

What do you offer for children?

• We have our Children's Church Program (Kingdom Kids 1st - 6th Grade) on the 1st and 3rd Sunday each month during the 10:30 morning service. The children start out in the service and will be dismissed to the fellowship hall.
• We also offer a Teen Ministry (Teen Scene - 7th-12th grade) on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month during the 10:30 morning service. They start out in the service and will be dismissed to the fellowship hall.
• We also offer a Nursery for infants to 4 year olds. This is located behind the sanctuary.

What is the typical Sunday attire?
At Second Baptist you will see a variety of styles - from suits and dresses to slacks and jeans. The most important thing is to come dressed in a way that makes you comfortable. Our dress code is casual but appropriate.

How long does the worship service normally last?
Our worship service normally lasts 90 minutes. The first Sunday of the month may be a bit longer due to Communion.

How do I join Second Baptist Church?
Joining a church is a big decision. We would be honored if you were to unite with our church.

• At the end of each of our worship services an altar call is extended for people to come down front and join Second Baptist Church. This is the best time to get connected to our church. The Intake director will meet with you and start the membership process.
• We also have a connect card that you can fill out in the service. Place this card in the offering plate and someone will contact you about joining.

How can I serve in one of the ministries at Second Baptist Church?
There are a number of ministries available for our members to serve at Second Baptist Church. Check out our page under Connect/Ministries to see all the ministries in our church. If you are unsure about which ministry to join you might consider attending our Starting Point Class to learn more about our church as well as the different ministries we have to offer.

Do you have Bible Study?

• Yes, we do offer Bible Study every Wednesday from 7 pm to 8pm.  
• There are a couple times during the year when Bible Study will be on hiatus. Typically during this hiatus small groups will be taking place. Check our Events Calendar to see the current status of our Bible Study.

A typical service will last about 90 minutes. We sing a good mix of contemporary and traditional music that is led by our worship team. We have  a nursery available for your little ones ages birth through 4 years old.  1st & 3rd Sundays the Children meet during the 10:30 service. Teen Scene is held during the 10:30 service on the 2nd & 4th Sundays.
Plan to hang around after the service for fellowship and meeting new people.
