Charles has served in the ministry for over 25 years. During the course of his ministry he has served as:
- Chaplain Assistant in the Army
- Young Adult Pastor
- Pastor of Evangelism and Outreach
- Pastor of Ministry and Special Projects
Charles came to Second Baptist Church to serve as the senior Pastor in 2015. He is a graduate of Crossroads Bible College in Indianapolis, Indiana. He also studied at Liberty University while pursuing a Masters of Theology Degree. He and his wife Chris were married in 1998 and have two wonderful daughters.
